Who is Community Services for Children / Head Start?
Community Services for Children, located in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, prepares children and their families to succeed in learning and in life. Head Start/Early Head Start of the Lehigh Valley, which CSC administers, turns 45 this summer. For more info, see "News."Our major areas of service include the following:
- Head Start/Early Head Start of the Lehigh Valley and PreK Counts preschool provides early learning, health, and family services to low-income families with children ages 0-5 in Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Call 610-437-6000, ext 2354.
- PA Northeast Regional Key provides professional development and technical assistance for early learning professionals in 13 counties of the state, helping them to achieve increasing levels of quality under the Keystone STARS program. Call 610-4370-6000, ext 2303.
3. Child Care Information Services of Lehigh County provides subsidized child care to qualifying families in Lehigh County and resource and referral related to child care through the TOT-INFO line, 610-868-4636.
