“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”

Donate to Project Child
Project Child is the hand that pulls the child out of the path of runaway circumstances—teaching parents the skills they need to give proper care: to provide a safe environment, to discipline responsibly and without violence, to see that a child receives proper medical/dental checkups and treatment—and to inform both the public and professionals about services, strategies, trainings, seminars, hotlines, all BEFORE a tragedy occurs, BEFORE a child is damaged, a life shattered, a family destroyed.
Donate to Mimi’s Book Club
The opportunity to have access to books and to develop good reading skills is a valuable investment toward a child’s successful future. Mimi’s Book Club allows us to purchase books for the children and families we serve. The books given to the children from Mimi’s Book Club will take their imagination on a journey to a whole new world.
Quality early education is vital to the future of our community. CSC relies on donations to help purchase classroom materials and equipment; provide training to keep staff current with best practices; offer parenting education and expand arts, science, technology and math education.
Stay tuned for upcoming events!
Books – CSC is always grateful for age-appropriate (0-5) new or very gently used books to support children’s literacy development. The preference is for books that are not commercially syndicated (movie or television shows,) that are non-denominational in nature, and that do not include violence. There always a high demand for multi-lingual books. Infants and toddlers enjoy books that have bright colors and big pictures. Preschoolers actively construct literacy knowledge through picture books and quickly begin to see that the print holds meaning.
Need ideas for books titles? The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) suggests looking to national award winners such as the Caldecott Medal.
Gift Cards – Our children and families have various needs year-round that range from diapers and formula to shoes, gasoline, breakfast cereal, and more. The CSC staff work with caregivers and seek to empower them to be active providers for their families, develop goals and strategies for success. Your gas, grocery, or department store gift card donation to CSC enables us to best meet the individual needs of each family.
