2nd Head Start Alumni Scholarship

Community Services for Children has been a long-standing resource to the Lehigh Valley since 1981. We have grown to serve 17 counties across Pennsylvania, and provide high-quality early learning educational resources and programming. Our Head Start/Early Head Start of the Lehigh Valley is committed to ensuring the healthy development and school readiness of all children through the establishment of annual school readiness goals, and rigorous measurements of progress. Last year we served a total of 1,819 children and families. We are always seeking ways to enhance our programming for our families. One of these ways is through our 2nd Head Start Alumni Scholarship. This scholarship, now in its’ fourth year, is being offered to any former Early Head Start/Head Start students who are pursuing higher education regardless of which Early Head Start/Head Start program they attended. We are accepting applications until May 17, 2024. Please feel free to share the application with students, faculty, and other colleagues who may know someone interested. The scholarship is being awarded in the amount of $500!
