Deliver weekly comprehensive in home services to children and families who receive services from the child welfare system and have substance abuse involvement. Educate parents on pregnancy, child development prenatally to age three, parenting, health, mental wellness, family systems and problem solving.  Promote parents as child’s first and most important teacher. Ensure each child or expecting parent receives all required developmental, sensory and health screenings. Make referrals and provide family and community resources connections.

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Development and Family Studies or related degree. Three years’ experience working with drug/alcohol impacted infants and toddlers. Understanding of substance abuse addiction, relapse, recovery, family systems and group processes. Ability to interact and respond to infants, toddlers and families with understanding of their developmental needs. Valid driver’s license, full time use of a car and the ability to transport families in private vehicle.  Able to flex work hours to meet the needs of the program including working evenings and occasional Saturdays. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred.
