Community Services for Children (CSC) proudly hosted the Project Child Forum on April 9, 2026, in the Training Institute.
Approximately 40 attendees, including the dedicated CSC staff and community partners, participated in this impactful session that focused on the critical issues of child safety and the prevention of human trafficking.
The forum centered on an in-depth and powerful discussion about the prevention of human trafficking among minors and was led by Dr. Heather Evans. Dr. Evans, a Licensed Clinical Social worker and the founder of a counseling practice in Coopersburg, PA, brought over 25 years of specialized experience in complex trauma, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking to the session.
Attendees came away from the forum equipped with the knowledge about the warning signs and risk factors of human trafficking, empowering participants to better identify and protect the most vulnerable members of our community: the youth. This training served as a part of our ongoing commitment to child safety.
We invite you to contact us to learn about these warning signs so that you can help keep our community safe as well.
