Community Services for Children welcomes back Don Bernhard to the Board of Directors

Community Services for Children is honored to welcome back Don Bernhard to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Bernhard, of Allentown, served on the Board for over 20 years before joining the Board again last month.  He is currently the Executive Director of Downtown Allentown Community Development Initiative.  Previously, he was the Manager of Community and Economic Development for PPL.

Don is an active member of the International Economic Development Council where he has obtained the status of Certified Economic Development Professional.  He is on the executive committee of the Governor’s Early Learning Commission and is a recipient of the Edward and Inez Donley Award.

Don continues to demonstrate his extraordinary commitment to the value of High Quality early childhood education and family services, and CSC is thrilled to have his commitment to Community Services for Children as a Board leader.
