Reporting Fraud
You Can Help Prevent Welfare Benefits Fraud

Did you know that last year, the Office of Inspector General saved taxpayers millions of dollars by investigating reports of possible welfare fraud?

If you know someone who receives:

  • Cash assistance
  • Food stamps (SNAP)
  • Heating/energy assistance

AND:

  • Is not reporting income
  • Is not reporting ownership of resources or property
  • Is not reporting who lives in the household
  • Is allowing another person to use his or her EBT/ACCESS card or
  • Is taking advantage of the system in any way

Due to the high demand for individuals with technical skills, PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley is a one-stop resource for your training needs. Services include:

  • Assessment of skills, abilities and needs
  • Workshops: resume, career exploration, credit and budgeting, computer, job and labor market information and more
  • Career training funds available to those who qualify
  • Assistance to individuals with disabilities
  • Career Resource Centers that are fully equipped for job searching
