Manage and support implementation of preschool classroom programming and initiatives that respond to the children and families enrolled in the program and staff within the agency mission, philosophy and objectives.  Directly supervise designated staff, classrooms and special programs. Ensure all classrooms meet required Head Start, Pre-K Counts, Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Early Childhood, accreditation standards and other applicable regulations. Supervise, evaluate, and train staff for professional development. Provide classroom coverage as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. PA Early Childhood Education Certification preferred in addition to BA in ECE.  Five years experience as a pre-school teacher. Previous experience as a supervisor required. Strong interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Car and valid driver’s license.  Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred. Some evenings and weekends required. School year position (46 weeks per year).
