Develop and implement individualized classroom programming with a STEM, inquiry-based focus within the context of the agency mission and philosophy and current best practice to achieve program school readiness goals and standards for children. Partner with parents to respond to each enrolled child. Work cooperatively with Lead Teacher in a Team Teaching mode.
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or Associates in ECE AND bachelor’s in a STEM subject. Three years pre-school classroom experience. Demonstrated ability to practice and model inquiry-based, experiential learning. Strong interpersonal, leadership and management skills. Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Car and valid driver’s license. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. School year position (45 weeks per year).
