Community Services for Children’s Head Start program named accredited Program of Excellence

The Community Services for Children (CSC) Head Start program received accreditation as a Program of Excellence from the National Head Start Association (NHSA). This is the second consecutive award for CSC.

NHSA’s Program of Excellence Accreditation recognizes and supports the outstanding performance of Head Start grant recipients across the country. This designation recognizes CSC for consistently demonstrating excellence in program management, service performance, and continually meeting robust outcomes for children birth to five years old, pregnant people, families, and the communities where they live. At the completion of the review process, the NHSA reviewers noted “it is impressive how CSC keeps their mission and vision at the forefront of their design and delivery of services.”

Deidra Vachier, CEO, adds “CSC’s Head Start/Early Head Start program demonstrates its commitment to quality through the achievement of the National Head Start Association’s Program of Excellence reaccreditation.
