In this course, presented by CSC and Lakeside Educational Network, participants will learn practical strategies that optimize learning, empower positive growth and cultivate hope. This three-and-a-half-hour session explores brain basics, provides an intro to trauma and looks at the trauma-informed classroom as an ideal environment for learning.

Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m., and the workshop runs from noon to 3:30 p.m. Act 48 and CEUs will be offered. The Training Institute is in the Fowler Building on CSC's Donley Children's Campus, 1520 Hanover Ave., Allentown, PA 18109. The snow date is March 28.
