Project LEARN – Early Reading First

Project LEARN at Community Services for Children is funded by the U.S. Department of Education under the Early Reading First program. In targeted classrooms, Project LEARN focuses on children who come from families in which little or no English is spoken. We work with the children and families to gain proficiency in their primary language. On this firm foundation, they are better able to build strong pre-literacy skills important for success in kindergarten.

Children enrolled in Project LEARN are enrolled in full-day, full-year Head Start classrooms.
