Family Library
We are currently restructuring our Library.
Parents and children enrolled in Early Head Start, Head Start or PreK Counts may use the library through their Child Development Partner or Classroom Teacher.
Child Care providers who wish to use the library may do so by scheduling an appointment through the Regional Key Infoline, 1-800-528-7222.

The Family Library has books, toys, resource materials, computers and internet connection, and more for families and professionals in early education and care.
Supporting the development of new child care facilities by lending equipment and materials for start-up, the Family Library gives child care professionals a chance to try new materials and resources before making large investments. It also provides access to equipment and materials that may not be available in all child care facilities.
We lend large equipment and assistive technology, as well as toys and games for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and school age children. The Family Library's children's books include board and "soft" books for infants and toddlers, picture books for everybody to read, non-fiction books for pre-school and school-age children, and fiction books for school-age children. Some of the books are available in Spanish. The Family Library's collection also has musical CDs for children.
In the Adult collection, early learning and care professionals may conduct research as well as borrow resources, video tapes, audio tapes, and professional books. Materials on child development, child care management, and advice on helping children to grow strong, healthy, intelligent, and independent are available in the collection.
Two banks of computers with Internet access and on-site access to a laminator and a die-cut machine are available. There is no membership fee to borrow resources from the Family Library, but identification (such as a Drivers' License) is required.
We are located on the ground floor of the Fowler Building on the Community Services for Children Donley Campus, 1520 Hanover Ave, Allentown.
The Family Library is closed on major holidays and when CSC closes. Please check Operation Snowflake on days with bad weather during the winter.
Parking and access to the Library are located in the rear of the Fowler Building on the Donley Children’s campus.
