Develop and implement a Community Volunteerism plan, including needs assessment, recruitment, orientation, cultivation and communication. Develop and manage internal fundraisers, special events, and conferences.  Solicit in-kind donations and manage distribution. Oversee donation receipt, acknowledgment, and other related record keeping. Update social media for agency.  Write and design bi-monthly e-letter.

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field required. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience planning and running special events, including fundraisers. Experience recruiting, training, overseeing and cultivating volunteers and donors. Ability to create brochures, newsletters, e-letters, working with Facebook, and directing design and printing of professional publications.  Experience speaking before professional audiences.  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office and working with specialized software/databases. Flexibility to work some evening or weekend hours as may be required.  Car and valid driver’s license.
